Ben van Dijk,
bass trombonist of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, is available for recitals,
clinics, and solo appearances. His repertoire covers works from the 18th to 20th Centuries in
a variety of styles and settings.
He can combine these performances with master classes and private one-to-one instruction.
Ben can also appear with either Max or Heinrich Thein,
makers of fine brass instruments.
The Theins can present lectures on the history of the trombone and its evolution over the past
800 years.
Ben plays exclusively Max & Heinrich Thein bass and contrabass trombones.
For more then 15 years now Ben works together with the Thein brothers on the development of their
beautiful line of bass- and contrabass trombones.
