Model Description
The THEIN “Universal” Contrabass Trombone has been continuously developed together with Zachary Bond (Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts) since 2012. Our idea was, to combine the THEIN-Sound, with the easy playability of the American trombone construction. The easiness of playing amazes every player. Where it used to be months of work to play a phrase cleanly – with the THEIN “Universal” Contrabass trombone the player can play this after a few days.
This instrument can be ordered with different valve combinations:
– F/Bb/D: Commonly used German / Europe
– F/C/ Db: Commonly used in the USA
